Becoming a registered dental therapist in Saskatchewan involves a series of important steps to ensure that all practitioners meet the high standards set forth by the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association (SDTA). Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements: Applicants must have completed a dental therapy program recognized by the SDTA. Details on accepted qualifications and any equivalency options for internationally trained professionals are provided.

Application Process
New applicants to the SDTA must follow these steps:
- Complete and submit the SDTA Registration Form along with the required fee (one time fee) and any supporting documentation as requested on the form.

- Complete and submit the SDTA License From along with the required license fee (annual fee) and any supporting documentation as requested on the form. If you are a new graduate OR you are applying as a new registrant to SDTA after August 1st, the license fee is prorated to 50% of the annual fee. See license form for details.

Once your registration and license forms have been submitted, payment made and reviewed and approved by the SDTA Council, you will receive a copy of your SDTA license in pdf format.
